Release Phillips
County Motor Sports/Hi-Line Drag strip is gearing up for the last two weekends
of racing for the 2009 season.
Saturday, Sept. 5, will be the G & J/US Diesel Points Race. Time
Trails start at 9AM races at 1PM. Entrée fee for the Diesel race is $45.00. We
will be doing a Test & Tune on Saturday with a Jackpot race at the end of
the day. Entrée fee is $20.00 for the Test & Tune. Pits open at 7:00 AM and
spectator’s gate opens at 10AM. Spectator’s and Pit fees are $5 each.
Sunday, Sept. 6, is the final High Line Drag Strip Track Points Race with the
IHRA Ironman Trophy Races. Time Trails start at 9AM with the races at 1PM.
Racing fees are; Super Pro and Pro $45.00, Sportsman $25.00, High School and
Junior Dragsters are $10.00. The spectator’s and Pit fee is $5 each.
Saturday, Sept. 19 will be Test & Tune for $20.00. Pits open at 7:00 AM and
spectator’s gate opens at 10AM. North West Funny Cars will be making a pass
about 1PM. Spectator’s and Pits admission is $5.00 each.
The annual Benefit Banquet and Auction is the evening of the 19th
at
Sunday, Sept. 20 is our Big Dollar Race, $10,000.00 pay out with an 80 car
count. There will be 2 classes, Box and No Box. Racing fees are $100.00 per car.
North West Funny Cars will be making passes through out the day. Time Trails
start at 9AM with the races at 1PM. Pits open at 7:00 AM and spectator’s
gate opens at 10AM. Spectator’s and Pit admission is $5.00 each. Greg
