Phillips County Motor Sports, Inc. of Malta , dba Hi-Line Drag strip has announced the awarding of three $500.00 scholarships to Malta area students.

Mike Black, son of Tom and Denise Black, Scott Hould, son of Sid and Kari Hould, and Robert Kindle, son of T.J. and Millie Kindle, have been awarded $500.00 scholarships to pursue mechanical related studies for the upcoming year.

Black will be attending the NASCAR Technical Institute in North Carolina ; Scott Hould’s studies of Heavy Duty Equipment will be at Miles City Community College

and continue at MSU-N; and Robert Kindle will graduate from the Montana School of the Deaf and Blind, Gt. Falls , and will enter MSU-N to study welding.
